FAQ

Q: Will the storytelling sessions and workshops be live or pre-recorded?

A: Some of the festival’s storytelling sessions will be recordings made by our tellers especially for GMSF 2021. Other storytelling sessions, workshops, and the Q&A session will be presented live via Zoom. All Zoom sessions will be recorded and subsequently shared on the event website so that all viewers can enjoy them.

Q: Do I need to purchase separate tickets for each person in my home or classroom?
A: No. One ticket per household or classroom will suffice. You will be asked to estimate the number of viewers in your home or classroom to help us get a head count for the festival, but only one ticket will be required.
Q: Do the workshops require separate tickets?
A: No. The workshops are included with your festival ticket.
Q: How long will the event page be available for people to watch the stories?
A: Festival sessions will be available for viewing from April 16- May 16, 2021.
Q: What happened to the early-bird specials and discounts for senior citizens, military personnel, and college students that I remember from past festivals?
A: To simplify registration for the online festival, we have one general admission ticket price for the entire event. However, It is less expensive than the specially-discounted tickets we have offered in the past, so your discounts are already built in!
Q: Can students and teachers still attend the festival for free?
A: Yes. Enabling teachers and students to attend at no cost remains an important part of our educational mission. See the registration page for more details.
Q: How may I support the festival as an individual? How can my business or organization become a sponsor?
A: Donations of any size are always welcome. Contact us at the email address below or see our website for more information on sponsorship. Thanks for your support!
